Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is a popular Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films and also in a few of Malayalam. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying actress Savitri on her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. The early 2000s were when she started her career as an actress. After completing her studies in fashion design, she returned to film. Her first big role as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013) which was a Malayalam motion picture. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film didn't do well at the box office. Her first film release came in A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. However, the film did not perform well in the theater. The busy schedule she had throughout the year resulted in her having decide to pull out of projects that she was already making, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to take on bigger projects. She consequently was involved in two projects with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo as well as playing the leading role for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. However, the film is being delayed from 2015 with reports of release after September 2020 under a name change to Janakitho Nenu. In the end, the film's premiere was in the film Nenu Sailaja with actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast opposite Vijay on screen in Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on 17 January 2017. She also made appearances in Tamil films Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local.
