Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was born within Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of the town she grew up in. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's parents have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Ryder is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Her older sibling is Uria. Ryder's family relocated to Mendocino County in California when she was 7 years old. They didn't have electricity. Ryder was a voracious read because they had no TV. Ryder began taking acting classes at the age of Ryder was 12, at the American Conservatory Theatre. Her first role was a success on the large screen in 1986 at the age of 15 old. Ryder was bullied throughout high school. Her acting career, she hoped that it would aid her. However, it didn't take place. She continued to pursue her ambitions. Her breakthrough occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play successful characters in numerous films. In 1993 Ryder was twice nominated in the Academy Awards. One of the nominations was for her part In The Age of Innocence.
